Report an error
Include the exact URL, a short explanation and, where possible, a reliable source. For a broken link, provide the expected destination.
We review the wording, relevance and current state before changing a page.
About directory websites
For an order, booking, service or content belonging to a listed website, contact its publisher directly. World Web Certified does not replace the destination website.
To request a change to a portal record, identify the relevant domain clearly.
How a request is reviewed
We first determine whether the request concerns the portal or an external website. For an editorial correction, we compare the reported passage with the current project page and the supplied supporting material.
The outcome may be a direct correction, a request for clarification, contextual rewriting or a reasoned refusal when the material does not establish the proposed change.
An urgent request should describe the concrete risk. Declared urgency does not replace necessary verification.
Removal and amendment requests
A project owner may request correction or removal by identifying the domain and their role. A visitor may also report a destination that has changed or no longer matches its description.
World Web Certified may remove a record on its own initiative when keeping it would create confusion, without attributing fault or a general judgement to the project.
Removal from the portal does not remove the destination website or information published elsewhere.
What we do not handle
We cannot intervene in orders, refunds, recruitment, bookings, user accounts or disputes that belong directly to a listed website. Use the contact details and terms of the relevant service.
We never need a password, sign-in code or banking data to correct a record.
Clearly automated messages, material unrelated to the portal or risky attachments may receive no response.
