Usefulness before volume
We publish to guide, explain or document. We avoid near-duplicate page series, reformulations with no original contribution and titles that promise more than their content.
Every project needs an independent reason to exist and every record must describe a real scope.
Accuracy and proportion
Claims are phrased according to the available evidence. A hypothesis remains a hypothesis; a description does not become certification; directory presence is not absolute endorsement.
Dates, figures, quotations and sensitive information receive stronger scrutiny.
Disclosed AI, human accountability
AI may assist drafting, structure, translation or illustration. This assistance is disclosed on the website.
People remain responsible for publishing, changing or removing content. AI replaces neither a source, professional expertise nor contextual review.
Commercial independence
Advertising, affiliation and partnerships must be identifiable. A commercial relationship cannot buy a favourable editorial conclusion or silently alter directory ordering.
Advertisements must not obscure the main content, impede navigation or be confused with editorial records.
Right to correction
Anyone may report a factual error or outdated statement. We ask for the URL, relevant passage and available supporting material.
We may refuse a request aimed solely at removing accurate and lawful information, while still reviewing its relevance, wording and context.
Readability and accessibility
Useful content must be understandable without forcing readers to guess its organisation. We use a heading hierarchy, distinct paragraphs, descriptive links and suitable contrast so pages can be read across different screens.
Illustrations must not carry essential information alone. Alternative text explains their function when an image contributes to the content; purely decorative elements remain hidden from assistive technologies.
Visual design must not make the menu, main text or essential actions difficult to find.
Separation of editorial content and advertising
Any advertisement must be recognisable before a click and clearly separated from directory records. Labels, buttons and visual styling must not suggest that an ad is part of navigation or was written by the portal.
Main content should remain available without chains of advertising screens, misleading button movement or designs intended to generate accidental clicks.
Advertising volume must remain compatible with reading. The portal exists first for its content and orientation service.
Conflicts of interest and fair treatment
When a commercial link, affiliation or partnership directly influences a page, the relationship should be explained near the relevant content. A generic declaration is insufficient when readers cannot identify the situation.
Corrections are assessed according to the quality of the supporting material, not the reputation, pressure or commercial value of the requester.
The same principle applies to removal: protecting the clarity and accuracy of the collection takes priority over artificially preserving its size.
